Troop 159 Historian's Report As with every term thus far for Troop 159, we have been very busy. On February 9 the High Adventure went snow boarding in North Carolina where several of them perfected the "art of falling" rather than "snowboarding" down the hills. With the exception of some extra padding, it was a good well planned out trip. On February 17- 18 we went to Brashier Campus were we meet lots of new scouts and had them participate in some of our more enjoyable events such as the spider web and the tomahawk throw. On February 24 we had an over night Junior Leader Training session were the newly elected troop positions learned what they had to do this term. The training session was made more enjoyable with the movie Master and Commander. I am pleased to report we had no complaints following this outing. Congratulations to the Scouts of our troop! We have now successfully accomplished our goal by visiting all 40 State parks in South Carolina. On March 25th we went to Myrtle Beach-our final destination- and saw the famous medieval times. Wow what a finale! A special congratulations to Jeremy Baker for getting his Eagle rank. You finally did it!!! This has been a very exiting term for all and I hope the next term will be the same.
